John Sopchak
As a rule I do not make
a practice of putting obituaries on this website. I
do not feel comfortable using this site for personal
items; it just doesn’t seem to be the right place.
That being said, the
Milltown Voice, as well as all the
residents of Milltown, have lost a dear friend. John Sopchak,
the man who took all the pictures at all Milltown events has
passed. He was a good man and a tireless volunteer. He could
always be counted on to be at every and any Milltown event
taking pictures. I would find a disc with pictures in my
mailbox on the same day as the event. John never asked for
payment for his work, just a simple
thank you.
As an example of the
kind of man he was, in lieu of flowers or donations,
he has asked that people do an act of kindness.
So I want to take a
moment to thank
John Sopchak; you will be so missed and
remembered.
